My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Everywhere

This post is going to be about pretty much EVERYTHING!!

So, today I started my job here on base! I was soooo excited about it, and have been waiting for this day since we got here.. I hated not working and not making any money! I have always had a job since I turned 16 years old and I am just use to working. So today was great. I got a job at the youth center and I love it. I love working with children and interacting with them. However, I must say that this job is a lot like working in a classroom as a teacher. We do just about the same things they do, besides a lesson plan. We have lesson plans, but they are fun lesson plans, instead of educational ones. Which this is good because I am going to school for Middle Grade Education. So needless to say I am pretty stoked about my new job and I hope I fit in well with everyone.

On the other note, today I picked up fluffy and Sparta from the vet on my lunch break. Poor Sparta is all I have to say. I though I would have to worry about Fluffy because she got declawed and fixed, but NO she is fine.. She may sleep a little more but what cat doesn't when they get fixed.. Anyways, Sparta HATES me! Well he makes me feel that way.. He literally did not moved all day..  I dropped them off and I took him to the room to lay on the bed because he loves it there, and he whined the whole way as I carrying him there. But he stayed there until I got home from work.. And every time I try to pet him he cries. : ( The only time he wasn't crying is when I brushed him with the brush for like 10 minutes, then he ran out the room.. It is so sad... Im sure he will come around, and he is just being a big baby.. Also, in 10 days Fluffy has to go back to get her stitches out.. I did not know they make an incision on their stomachs to fix them.. If I would have known that, I would have said HECK NO!! But these are some pictures of them after their painful visit to the vet.

If you look closely you can see the medication on Sparta's feet still

Not so much Fluffy.  She has licked A lot off. HA

And this is what we had to do to our couch, so the medication wont get on it.. HAHA

But I really do hope they feel better soon, and that they go back to their normal crazy selves. I feel like they are both fragil glass and that I should not even touch them!! Man I wish I would have not gone through with this now!! But I love my babies!!

  2. Poor kitties! I got my cat neutered when he was a baby but decided not to get him declawed because he didn't scratch the furniture. He came home all drugged up and he looked so funny. The vet told me not to let him run and jump around but how do you keep a kitten from doing that! He was mostly his normal self...besides that he had a hard time walking straight until his meds wore off ;)
