My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

About Us

My name is Michel, I am twenty something years old and living the best life I could possibly dream of. I am a country girl down from the heart and love me some good ole southern hospitality. I was born and raised in Georgia, where the food is the best. I am a adventrous girl and love doing out door things or playing sports. We are currently stationed in Washington State so I can say we stay pretty busy on the weekends. Basketball, Gymnastics, and Running are my favorite hobbies. Baseball, and soccer are my least favorite. I am currently attending college, online of course, to become a middle grade education major. I absolutely adore kids. I work at the youth center on base and I enjoy it every day!

My wonderful husband, Joe. He is also twenty something and experiencing a life he never thought he would. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and loving his job! He is a sucker for cars, and anything that has to do with cars. He loves his Xbox and would stay on it for days if he could. He like working out and just being plain lazy when he doesn't have to work. He is a sweet loving husband and I would not change a thing about him.

It was our junior year in high school and I was supposedly head over heels in love with my boyfriend at the time, who was off at college. Joe was that guy in high school who dated everyone and dumped them within a couple of days because he was annoyed by them. It was the first day of school and I walk into 1st period with a couple of my friends and we find a seat and sit down. Which had happen to be right behind Joe. Roll call was then called and this was the first time  I noticed Joe. The teacher could not pronounce his name correctly, which is always happening! You know how everyone giggles when your name in not pronounced right. Well we all did, Then the teacher decides to call me Michael instead of Michel and that is the first time Joe picked on me. The year went by and we all picked on Joe because he literally looked like a muscle builder his junior year. He had really big arms and his shirts were always tight so we would pick on him about it. I eventually noticed that we had more than one class together and we started to become friends. He would pick on me and I would just look over it. I remember one day after school I was walking out to my car and noticed I had a flat tire! I was livid! Then has a find someone to fix it for me Joe rides by in his car and stops and laughs at me and keeps going. What a gentlemen right. Well later I asked him about it and he was like well you already had some guy fixing it. HA. But our junior year ended and consisted of us picking on each other and me "stalking" him. HAH thats right. My friend and me find out he worked at Winn Dixie and we would just walk in there to get absolutely nothing just to make an appearance. My realtionship with my boyfriend at the time ended about half way through Junior year because he cheated on me. Summer went by and I was enjoying being single. Our senior year Joe and I had no classes together and I was pretty bummed about it. We would see each other in the hall ways every now and then and throw an occasional hey. It wasn't until prom rolled around that Joe and I got really close. I was the only girl out of our group that did not have a date and everyone was determined to find me one because I was no going to go. We were sitting at lunch one day and my friend Lacey told me that I should ask Joe to prom. I denied her fast because how stupid would I look going up to a guy and asking him to prom that i never even really talked too. Well my other friend that was sitting at the table secretly went behind my back. She had a class with Joe and told Joe that she knew someone who wanted to go to prom with him. He first said that he isn't going to prom and that he has already denied all girls who asked him. The my friend told him it was me. Joe didn't believe her so she gave him my number and by the end of that day He had texted me and ask me if it was true. So I now had a date to prom. I was so excited. Well it just so happened that the week following the day we decided to go to prom together was spring break. Joe ended up coming and staying with us at out place. It was so much fun and it was a great way for us to get comfortable around each other. Spring break is where we had our first kiss that I had to make the first move.
After our first Kiss as he was leaving to go home.

Prom rolled around and we were still not dating just going has friends. We had a blast, and we both went to different houses at the end of the night. It wasn't until the day after prom that we became and Official couple.

After we graduated high school I moved out into my own apartment with a room mate and Joe slowly moved his way in. We then finally made it an official move about 3 months into the lease and Joe and I ended up moving into a different apartment. We lived together, worked together, and did everything together. I began to realize that he was the guy I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. The most memorable day was my 20th birthday. I was still sleeping, and Joe was preparing for the most scariest moment in his life so far. I was easily woken up by his voice and I noticed that all the windows were open and then I felt him reach over me and kiss me on my neck. I slowly rolled over to a ring sparkling in the sunlight and him asking me to marry him. I was shocked needless to say, not only was I not expecting it at all but then ring was so pretty! He literally had to ask me three times before I came out of shocked and said yes. That is for sure the best birthday ever!

Upgraded me to this for our One year! which he gave to me early

A couple months down the road joe had jokingly said something about military and how we would have it made if he was in, because we would live for free and have benefits. At that time we lived pay check to pay check and it was horrible. I agreed with what he said not thinking that it would be takin any father, but I was wrong. The next day we were at the recruiter's office and Joe was signing into the Air force. It all went so fast and before I knew it he was gone for BMT! Which might I add was the hardest thing ever!! We didn't get married before he left, which now I look back on it and I wish we did. We were going to wait till he got done with training and all. Well that was our plans, until while exchanging notes back and forth we both realized we just wanted to be together after BMT because we missed each other so much and didn't want to go a whole year without each other. So we planned to get married after his graduation in San Antonio Tx. I didn't tell my parents because I thought they would freak, and we had a lovely shotgun wedding at the river walk! It was very pretty. His family was there and they supported us through it. I was finally Mrs. M and I was so happy. The next day Joe and I called my mom and come to fund out she wasn't even mad. She said she was going to suggest it as well. Funny right? And this leads us to where we are now. A happy married couple who adore each other. Yes it wasn't the wedding of my dreams, but I wouldn't change it one bit.
