My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Catch up

So I  have not posted in four days, and I am just now getting the time to do so.. I have had a crazy busy week with me starting my new job this week. I love it though, and all the kids are so cute. But the schedule of the job has really messed up the way my body function. I am not use to getting up at 0600 in the morning and better yet being at work at 0630.. It has definitely been a hassle for me but I think I am getting better. The job is split shifts, so I work 0630-0930 have a long lunch break, if you want to call it that, and then go back in at 1400-1800. It doesn't seem like it would be to bad, because I have a long break in between to take a nap, but I have not been able to use it at all.. During that time I have been faxing things to USAA, mailing off things we needed to return, getting paperwork worked out with our bills, and getting my CAC card made ( which I waited a hour and half to get!!), and on top of all this I have school to deal with.. Stress is going to be my best friend I have a feeling. ha. So I apologize for the lack of post this week, I am sure when I get use to the schedule there will be more.

So Here is a little catch up on my week after work at home. Finally, Sparta and Fluffy are feeling much better they are back to their normal crazy attitudes. I feel much better now seeing them "happy" again.

Also, this week my friend whitney, who is in the process of moving home gave us her bedroom furniture because she didnt want to have to ship it home.. So the Hubs, our friend Caleb, and I went to pick it up. We had to borrow a friends truck to go get it, and let me add Whitney lives 30 minutes away from base! I couldn't ever live that far if I worked on base.. GEES. But we were picking up a bed and a dresser. I literally didnt think it was going to all fit on the truck, but I guess it is a good thing we are from the SOUTH and know how to pack things up.. HAHA

Now, if we were in the south, people would make fun of us and say, "wow look at those rednecks" haha. But hey we got it home and that is all that matters. It was a pain in the butt too because the bed frame was super heavy and had to carry it down 3 flights of stairs!!

Nothing really exciting happened all week, so this brings me to Friday. Thank goodness the government doesnt make us work on weekends because I need my weekends. : ) Lastnight was great. came home to the hubs, cleaned up a little bit, and cooked dinner. I haven't really cooked all week so it was good to have an actual meal.

I know it is a lot of food, but it tasted so good. : ) so we ate and watched a movie. Jonah Hex, just to save you from watching a horrible movie do not ever watch it. I though it was going to be like a western movie but it wasn't.. it wasn't really bad but just weird.. Anyways, after the movie ended and like 8:30, I was passed out in bed by 9... : ) poor hubby just layed in bed watching TV.

NOW, that we are caught up, today we going to a cook out, and celebrating our friend Christy's 25th birthday!! Her hubs is deployed right now so we are going to try to make it as best as we can. : )

  3. Ha about time you blogged again! I was beginning to wonder if you forgot about blog land lol. Love the picture of the bed in the back of Christys truck haha...I bet that was horrible to pack that stuff down from her apartment..bless her heart I still feel terrible for what all has happened. I have her charger I need to mail her. I saw "the instigator" at walmart last night and I almost went and kicked him in the shin for being such an ass wipe about everything. But he isn't even worth that. Can't wait to see you in an hour for the cookout!
