My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Hello Jeep!

I blogged a couple of days ago about my wreck and how the hubs wanted to buy a beater truck for us to drive around in the snow, that would not get stuck and that would not matter if it got dinged up. Well my friends he finally found one he wanted. After a week of searching on craigs list he found a 88 Jeep Cherokee. I was not too excited about it at all, because I am not a fan of beat up looking trucks. Especially when I want to trade my car in for a Four runner one day. Guess it is going to be a while now. But I must say that this jeep is not to bad. It has no rust and is four wheel drive with low miles. It also has snow tires on it which is a major plus. I do not have any pictures to share at the moment but I will try to remember to take some later and post them. However I am not a big fan of the inside.. We are definitely going to buy some seat covers for this bad boy. But hey for 1000 bucks what can you expect? right?

Now, on to something I have been thinking about. I have no idea what I am going to get the hubs for Christmas. he is a spoiled man and has pretty much everything he needs. So any ideas ladies?? What are you all buying your man?

  1. He's getting ebooks for the nook that I found for free, video games, some dvd's and some sports apparel (shirts, etc). The crowning achievement is a pair of fingerless oregon university gloves that he's going to love when he sees.

  2. I went with the earbud Bose headphones. Nicer than the noise canceling, but better than the cheap set that came with his iPod. They'll be good for deployments. And a contoured pillow, too bad he needed that before Christmas!
