My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Then and Now

I remember in high school I was an over active person. I played basketball, ran cross country, ran track, and I even did gymnastics outside of school. I was always on the go, working out and staying  fit. Sports were my life and I loved the competition. I may at one point even have been to skinny but that also had to do a lot with my father passing away and me becoming depressed, however that is another story and I am getting of topic. So what I am trying to say is that I have lately become to laziest thing ever! Once I graduated I started college, but I still managed to work out in between classes about 3 times a week. That was my freshman year. Sophomore year, Joe left for basic and I had no motivation at all to go while he was gone. So I completely stopped for those 3 months. While he was in tech school in Texas and Washington I worked out occasionally. Maybe once a week. I was just so lazy and had no motivation. When we finally were reunited it Oklahoma for some more of his training, we were so caught up with each other to even think twice about the gym. We would at least go once a week and sometimes get lucky and squeeze in two times. And this now brings me to where I am at now. We are in Washington now and have been for about  4 going on 5 months. Within this time I have had no motivation at all to go to the gym. I have not ran, done one sit up, or push up until about 2 or 3 weeks ago. And let me tell you when i got on that treed mill, which i am not a fan of these things to begin with, it whooped my ass. I only ran a mile and half in 14 minutes. I should be running Two miles in that time. I realized that my body is not the same as it was in high school. No more running 5k's in 21 minutes. Kinda depressing when i look back and see how bad I let myself get out of shape. GRR. But I am working on it.

Also, The hubs and I are trying so hard to get leave to go home for a week in December. We do not even want the week of Christmas and we will settle for the 13- the 19th. So I really hope that we both get approved. : )

And I am leaving you guys with a picture of our kitties.

  3. It's amazing how quickly our bodies can change. When I was 21 it was super easy to lose weight, now I'm only 26 but it seems the number on the scale won't budge no matter what I do...so sad :-(

    Your kitties are adorable!!!!

  4. Love the kitty in the sink! Mine used to do that, but he was way too big. I know how you feel, since I retired I haven't done anything - and it shows.

  6. I've had the same issue. I used to run, play volleyball, dance competitively, and now, I'm just plain lazy.
I just need the motivation to get off my butt and get back into shape, but it's not as easy on the body now.
    Good luck to you!
