My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

CraftOManiac Giveaway

Everyone if you have not yet seen CraftOManiac's giveaway you must do so. It is so cute and perfect for the Valentines spirit. I love her ideas and I try to use as many as I can in my own home. It is a major plus now that she is hosting a giveaway. So if you do not follower her yet be sure to check her out HERE.
Isn't her stuff just so darn cute?

Real quick:
Still no husband, but hoping the third time is a charm. They sent the wrong part to fix the jet TWICE now! BOO. Also, they might, just might push his deployment back a week because he will not have enough time to get everything done before leaving. But the possibilities of that happening are slim..

Other than that nothing has changed. Still working and gymin it up all the time. Hope everyone is having a great week. : )

Total spill of emotions

I know you guys are probably getting really tired of reading about how my husband is stuck in japan because his plane broke and so forth. Well just to warn you this is a post continuing this awful topic. I literally had the biggest melt down I have had yet, today. I have been so frustrated with the AF about this TDY for many many reason and I have shared them multiple times before. My husband was supposed to be back a week ago, but instead ended up getting stranded there and another crew from our base had to go on an emergency flight to japan to bring them the part they needed. WELL this lovely base we are stationed at is so organized at their job that they sent a crew out there that was SHORT the main person they needed to fix the plane, and even broke their plane even MORE! So my husband who was supposed to be home tomorrow after their plane got fix will no longer be coming home. He is still stuck out there and now has to wait for another crew to come back with the new parts they need and the people they need! He said that he possibly will be home next weekend, but I am not even going to think he is going to be. I have constantly been shut down every time when I think he is coming home. I am just now going to prepare for the worse. Which is more than likely going to happen. He will come home a couple of days before his deployment date and then leave me again for 2 and half months. I am trying to accept the fact that I am not going to get to see my husband at all this year, and it has just been a major slap in my face. I really do not like the fact that most boomers wives i know have spent over half their marriage away from each other. It is just so depressing. I really thought the AF was the right path for us, but the more we get into it the more I regret agreeing to commitment. I know that sounds horrible as a military wife to say that, and all you other wives are probably deleting me as a follower now, but I can not help to think that sometimes. I love everything else about the military, just not this. I am so supposed to be the wife that cooks and cleans for my children and husband every night, a wife that sleeps in the bed with her husband every night, and has a family to come home to when getting off work..... Well that is what I dream about, and a lot lately. I wonder if it is a sign? But I do know that I love what my husband does, and that I am more than proud of everything he has done and accomplished. He is a hero in my eyes and I would not change that. So with that said I do not think that I will ever get that dream I have been dreaming, but it should would be nice. There is nothing I would rather want, but for him to be happy and for us to have a happy family.  So I have come to realization that my life is not going to be normal like every bodies life back at home, but even better because I have an Airman that knows I will be waiting. waiting for that text, call, email, or arrival home. But with all this said, I did not realize how hard separation was going to be and how it would affect our relationship. Tonight the husband and I got into the biggest argument over nothing and I literally sat and soaked in my tears for about an hour. It was horrible and then I had to calm myself and talk it through with him. We both agreed that we can not let this get to us, but it is going to be really hard.

I want all of you to know that I am really thankful for everything my husband and your husbands/boyfriends/Fiance support for our country. It is amazing what they do for us and I wish everyone could see what all they do. Also not just the husband but the wives to. We are a group of strong ladies that many women wish they could be.

That is all for now. Thanks for everything. You guys are the best.

I love him!

as you all know, the husband is stuck over in japan on his birthday and I have been pretty upset about it. Not just the fact that he is not here for his birthday, but the fact that he was supposed to be home a week ago. I have been going crazy. Well today on my long break I had between shifts I came home and took a nap. Yeah I was a total slacker today when it came to the gym, but i was to sore. As I was on my way out to go back to work I saw a box on the steps that had huge letters saying FLOWERS. I was so excited. I am going to make a quick confession. I have never gotten flowers before. I mean never. Not even from my ex or parents. Yeah the hubs has given me an occasional flower on the car when getting off work, but that is it. I have given him so many hints, especially when he didn't get me any flowers for anniversary, but I guess jewelry is better. : ) So I was so excited to see what was in this box. I was shocked when i opened it because he had picked out my favorite flowers! He knows me so well : ) I guess those hints paid off.  these pictures are taken with my phone, so they aren't the best

It came with a teddy and things to use in the bath : )

I love Peruvian lilies

Shower Gel, Bath Beads and bubble bath : )

This really made my day so much better! I love him.  : ) Kinda ironic though because it is his birthday today and he should be getting things not me.. Oh well, we will celebrate when he comes home. : )  and I got a new update. He is supposed to be home Saturday, but prob will not happen. So keep your fingers crossed for me. : )

Waiting

So still no husband! :( He is still in Japan and I barely get to talk to him. yesterday was the first time I have talked to him in three days instead of an occasional post on my facebook wall from him. I think we talked for like 3 hours via skype. It was amazing. However, I have no heard a thing from him today and He was supposed to message me on Facebook before he went to bed about their plane and if it was fixed yet. Well I got nothing. booo. Also today is his birthday in Japan time, which tomorrow it will be here. I am pretty upset he will not be here for it, because the me and the kids at work made a sign for him that say happy birthday and I was going to decorate the house for him. He has never really had a great birthday and I was so happy we would be together for this one. O well maybe next year.

I have become a work out machine. I love that I found some great classes to go to during the week. They are really fun, but I can say that I am super sore today. I might take tomorrow off, depends on if I can walk or not. HA.

but here are some pictures i have taken over the past week....

she is crazy
This is the sign I got at hobby lobby it say all because two people fell in love

I brought home the pigs from work and the cats loved it hahah

Sparta passed out on me.

But this is just about all i have done.. I hope everyone had a good hump day.

The weekend.

IF you guys would like to read about my quick update about the hubs TDY you should go check it out HERE. Just put it this way he still isn't home. : (

However I have been staying super busy. Friday, I went over to a friends house and played Donkey Kong on the Wii for the whole night. I did not get in till like 130. It was so much fun. Then yesterday I cleaned the house, because I thought the hubs was coming home, and after I cleaned I went shopping with a friend from work. I got some really cute stuff, and will share pictures once I take some. After shopping I went bowling to get away from the Falcon VS Green Bay game because it was really making me upset. HA. But I will still be a proud Falcons fan. Gotta love my home team. : ) Then today, I went to Toys R Us with my friend Nicole and her newborn, her husband is also TDY with mine right now. We ate dinner and came home to play the Xbox kinect. Let me tall you, i wish I had the kinect for our xbox. We played Dance Central and it was sooo much fun. I am going back over there tomorrow to play again. : ) However do not get me wrong I do love my Wii, and the fact I can play Mario Brothers.

I am a little bummed that the hubs is not home yet. I really miss him and I am realizing that this whole deployment thing is going to be harder than I thought. : / But I know that I am a strong independent women and that I will make it through them all. So I am not going to bore you all with my emotional self

I hope everyone had a great weekend so far and enjoys MLK day tomorrow.

keeping busy!

Whew what a day! I have been one busy girl I must say. I haven't even had time to work on my crafts I wanted to yet, but I do still have till Saturday! However I did finally fix our pictures in the hallway and got some new pictures up in the living room.

This is my hallway and I know there are so many random picture frames but maybe one day soon I will have some to match. I really needed to redo this because the first time I hung up the pictures I put them to my eye level and they were really low and the hubs always complained about them ha.
The pictures hanging up to the right are the new ones : ) just a distance look.

And a closer look. This wall is so bare and random. I hate it. I need some ideas on what else to put on here.

While doing all this today, I realized that I want to redo what is on the table. I did however add the two picture on the ends today, but I am really wanting to get something to put done on top of the glass maybe?  Not sure, I will have to think more about it. : )

Also today, I went to my spinning class, and I was very pleased with myself. I did 17.5 miles on the bike. Heck Yeah!! For someone who has been out of the gym for a while I can say I have been doing pretty well. Tomorrow is the same class I had yesterday, which it is called heat. It is basically a cardio class, and you do some crazy things in there. Work has been going smoothly, besides all the darn shoveling I have had to do, it has been a good week here with out the husband. I am very proud of myself, although the little butt-hole has not texted me in a while and he even has the day off. I sent him a text saying I was going to kick him when he gets home. HAH.

I hope everyone had a good hump day. : )

Getting into the grove

So far this week I have been staying super busy. Monday the hubs left for tdy and he is currently in alaska trying to survive the freezing coldness, however its not much better here because we are supposed to get about 8in by tomorrow. Yuck. But I am using this time to prepare for the big deployment coming up. I honestly have been doing very well and I am so surprised about it. Ya I creid when he left but there would be something wrong with me if I didnt.. But then again I know he is safe.because he is in the states still and talks to me everyday. So we will see.

during this time I am using it to figure out my new gym schedule. I went today and went to this class with a friend. I can say that it worked pretty well. It was fun and I think I am going to enjoy this class. However I can say I hate mountain climbers now. This lady really over did those today. Tomorrow is spinning. What fun huh?

Also, I need ideas for valentines gifts girls. I was thinking about a fleece blanket for him with our pictures on it, but there is no way I can make that. I have no clue. I realized this once my friend kelsey told erin to make one for her husband and I was like crap how am I going to make that I have no sewing machine... Fail.

Hope you all are having a good week :)

Quick update.

Hi Bloggers!! I am updating you, guys quickly on my life.. I know how I keep preaching about how I am so busy, but I have really been super busy. When i do have time to blog I can hardly stay awake.  Work consumes my day considering I am up at 5 AM and get home around 5 PM, but I do have a good break between. In that time though I am doing school. It started back this past week and I am taking a full 15 hours. It really is going to be a long stressful semester.

As for the husband's deployment, it is still happening and he is still scheduled for the same date he had two weeks ago. BUT, they just threw on us the most randomness news. They told the hubs yesterday that he was leaving Monday to go TDY! Really Monday, Which is only three days!! It just frustrates me because they send him on TDY and then when he comes back home he leaves almost immediately after for the big D!! darn Military. But the good thing is that his TDY is only a week long, and he gets to visit Alaska, I figured it was okay to say the place since it is still in the states.

This is what I am going to be working on while the husband is gone.  The picture is from Craft-O-Maniac and if you guys love to craft she has some really amazing ideas.. I love her site and I wish I could do them all, and I know her house has got to be so decorative and crafty!! I need her to come visit me for a week : )

I have the perfect place to put these and I hope they turn out well like hers. If you want to know how to make these you can find the link to Craft_O_Maniac HERE

I hope everyone had a great week and enjoys their weekend.. I think the hubs and I are going to attempt snow boarding tomorrow :) I hope I come back in one piece.

New year

I have not blogged in a long time, and I know I have been a total slacker. But to my advantage I thought the hubs was deploying Tuesday the 3rd so i was trying to spend as much time as I could with him, even if it was just sitting on the couch watching TV. However, he is no longer leaving on the 3rd, but he is still leaving soon. they pushed it back, and let me say it is so annoying. So with that said I hope everyone had a fantastic New Years! The hubs and I decided to celebrate alone this year, which was kinda cool. We did have a friend over for dinner because her husband is deployed right now, but she left soon after. So the hubs and I just drank a few to get tipsy, and played the Wii. ha. I can say playing the wii while drinking adds so much more things to laugh at. We played Mario Brothers and we were more focused on trying to kill, hit, and jump on each other than actually winning the game. We did however turn it off to watch the ball drop. All in all it was a good night and now I woke up to a messy house to clean. Oh the fun. : )

A little catch up on my life for the past week, since I have been MIA.
- We got MORE snow
- My honda was almost hit yet again, but not my fault.
- The hubs wrecked the Jeep. Yeah HE did. But it isnt bad.
- We did not go tubbing with the kids this week. : ( bummer
- We are still getting Christmas from family in the mail.
- And my friend is coming to visit in March.. YAY

Some idiot thought it would be a good idea to back up into a parking spot that is way to small for a truck to be doing this!!! If he would have hit me I would have gone ballistic and waited on him to come back outside.

And of course more snow. It was to the point to where we could see grass and it was all almost gone. and then this happens over night.

Other than that my life has been pretty boring and I dont want to bore you all. So enjoy the new year!
