My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Catching up!

I know I have been really slacking on blogging lately. I have been really busy with school and trying to finish up my major portfolio for my education class that is due tomorrow night at midnight. However, I have decided that I am in need of a much needed break from working on it, to fill my fellow blogger's in  on my life. Of course the best way to update you guys is with pictures and I have plenty to share at the end of the post. This past week Kelsey, a friend of mine came down to visit her boyfriend, Caleb, who is also stationed here with us. She arrived Wednesday and left on Sunday. She was so excited to be here, because this was the last time she was going to get to she her man before he deployed. Needless to say we had a little to much fun the first night she arrived. Wednesday night we had a little get together at my place and played the game Things, which i love. We all were drinking and having a good time, not knowing how good of a time we were having until the next morning. : ) Here are some picture I took while playing Things.

Sparta had to be the center of attention

HAHAH

Had to support the arrival of Kelsey with our Canadian mug

Now, on to the next subject. If you have been keeping up with my blog you know that I am starting a few projects in my house to make it more appealing. I have officially started on one of these projects. I wanted to re due our kitchen table's chairs because the fabric on them were so nasty and had spills all over them. I went to a fabric store and literally spent 7 bucks on fabric. Cheap and easy. Then when I get home and I unscrew the cushion from the actual metal chair and start to measure how much fabric I need for each, I realize that I might not have gotten enough. Fantastic! But I still wanted to do at least one to see how it turned out. So I start to move forward in the project and get to the point where i need to secure the fabric on to the cushion and realize that I do not have a staple gun!!! I was so angry. Then of course the brilliant person I am decided to just hammer in nails, but not all the way, because it could poke you in the rear when sitting down. So i began to hammer in the nails halfway and bend the rest of it down. It worked, but it was such a pain in the butt. I finished one and I am not doing the rest until I get a staple gun. : ) But here is my ghetto version of our new chairs.

So, i would definitely suggest that when trying to re due your table's chairs make sure you have a staple gun. It will save you time and frustration. : )

I always get comments on how adorable our cats are and I enjoy sharing photos with you guys because I know yall enjoy them. So here are a few of Fluffy being her goofy self.

I hope every one is having a great week so far. And I hope to be back to the blogging world more after tomorrow. I will catch up on all of yalls blogs soon.
