When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Bromance

Alright i figured since it is Monday and nobody likes them, that I would share something to brighten up your day, make you giggle, and to put a smile on that face. I was not having a great morning at all. I did not want to wake up for work this morning and as I did I get out of bed and step in cat throw up!! To sum it up I was not heading into work in a great mood, that was until I checked my face book and discovered some pictures that I was tagged in by Kelsey. Not to long ago she cam down to visit her boyfriend, who is my husband's best friend and stationed here with us as well. Well we always joke about how there bromance is so strong and how they always hang out all the time. I guess you just have to know them to know how they really act together. But anyways Kelsey was visiting and she took pictures as the week went on. Well when she posted them on Face book this one picture made me literally laugh out loud. So I figured I would share it with you all, and if my husband knew I was doing this is would freak.

I know I know. It was all set up, but still it was so stinken funny. That is me in the background with the heart. HAH. I tried to make a heart while they were just sitting there, but I failed miserably because the noticed and looked at me like a was crazy, so then it led to the picture above.

This is the picture where I failed with the heart and they noticed. :) haha great memories.
I hope this brightened up your day.

Hello Jeep!

I blogged a couple of days ago about my wreck and how the hubs wanted to buy a beater truck for us to drive around in the snow, that would not get stuck and that would not matter if it got dinged up. Well my friends he finally found one he wanted. After a week of searching on craigs list he found a 88 Jeep Cherokee. I was not too excited about it at all, because I am not a fan of beat up looking trucks. Especially when I want to trade my car in for a Four runner one day. Guess it is going to be a while now. But I must say that this jeep is not to bad. It has no rust and is four wheel drive with low miles. It also has snow tires on it which is a major plus. I do not have any pictures to share at the moment but I will try to remember to take some later and post them. However I am not a big fan of the inside.. We are definitely going to buy some seat covers for this bad boy. But hey for 1000 bucks what can you expect? right?

Now, on to something I have been thinking about. I have no idea what I am going to get the hubs for Christmas. he is a spoiled man and has pretty much everything he needs. So any ideas ladies?? What are you all buying your man?

It's that time

That's right my fellow blogger readers. It is that time of the week again. Friday is here and it is yet again another MilSpouse fill in. I love this and enjoy reading everyone's answers. So I hope you enjoy mine too.

If you were given $1,000 right now, how would you spend it? Well what I want to spend it on and what I need to spend it on or two different things. I need to spend the whole 1,000 toward our car payment to hurry and get the hubs car paid off. ( which I can not wait) But I would want to go shopping. Buy things for the house, shoes and clothing.

If you had to choose a movie title (a real one that already exists) for your life story, what would it be? um, this is hard because I can not think of a movie that is anything like our life right now. But if I had to choose I would pick Sweet Home Alabama! It is my favorite movie and so cute.

If you were a teacher, what subject would you like to teach? This is easy, since I am going to school for it.. Science hands down. I want to teach anatomy one day.

Has being a MilSpouse changed how you view holidays or how your holidays are celebrated? If so, how? If not, what hasn't changed? Oh yes majorly. Especially this year. Usually we are with family spending the holidays with them but this year it will be just us two.

What is your favorite Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate) memory? Besides the first Christmas with the hubs, I would say that they best Christmas memory ever were the ones with my dad. He always spoiled me and tried his hardest to get what I wanted. I remember one year I pitched a fit about how I want this leopard chair and they could not find it any where. So my dad worked his magic and I was surprised to see it there Christmas morning. He ended up buying it of the floor already together and all. I miss him much.

HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL! i hope you guys have a great weekend, and for the ones with finals good luck to you, i will be doing what you are this weekend.. STUDYING.

Can we pause time?

It is that time. Study Study Study... I am trying to study for exams but my mind just wonders all over the place. The hubs is flying tonight and I have not seen him all day. I woke up and went to work, and come to find out that the 2 hours bus delay we thought we had turned into NO SCHOOL again! So I was there all day again. When I got off the hubs was already gone and doing pre flight. So as I sit here alone I can not help but to think about it. that is right the big D that all of us military spouse absolutely hate. Ours is right around the corner and coming o so fast. Because of OSPEC I am not sharing the date, but you guys will definitely know when it happens. I can not help to think about it especially tonight as I sit here alone. I have to admit I am so scared about it. I have seen multiple military spouses go through hard times while their significant other was deployed and they both ended in divorce. You guys may think I am some over whelming controlling freak when I say this, but hey this is my blog right? : ) But I just hate the fact that my husband is going to be in a country I will never know anything about, what it looks like, what kind of people are there, and what there is to do, ETC. I really really hate not knowing what the hubs is doing. It is not that I do not trust him, but we have gone through hard times before to make me want to know all this. I am not looking forward to not knowing if he is going to a bar, who he is hanging out with. I know sounds crazy but it just drives me crazy! I already know that there is a major time difference where he is going and when it is my bed time here he will be just waking up. So I might be pulling all nighters : )
Also another thing. With his job once his deployments start the never stop. hence he is gone for a shorter period of time, but when he comes home he is only here for that same amount of time and gone again. Also while he is home he could possibly be put on TDY!! So that means half of our marriage is going to be damn deployments. I wish there was a way around these stupid things.
My biggest fear, minus the whole divorce thing, is that we will get pregnant one day (which is not now) and that he will not be here for the birth. How horrible would that be?
Gees there are just so many problems with this whole situation. But on to a brighter note. today at work, the kids and I went outside to play in the snow. We made tons and tons of snowmen so I have some pics to share.

Oh and my blue devils won last night! I was so excited. GO DUKE!!

The unexpected happened.

To start off I am going to go ahead and say that this post might be all over the place. I have so much to talk about and to update you guys on. I have been extremely busy and you guys are about to see why.

To start off Monday as I was driving home from work the unexpected happened to me. About 2 months ago the wonderful Balfour Beaty installed a new stop sign in our neighborhood and I can say that the first couple of weeks I completely did not even notice that it was there and ran it a couple of times. However back on topic, I was driving from work to home Monday. Out of all the roads on base, this one road that is where this stop sign is located and right in front of Base housing Office, is horrible. Snow and ice cover this road. It is the only road on my route to work that is not plowed or salted!! (Which the extremely well organized military people we are just decided to salt the roads this past weekend after we have already had a blizzard and all. ) So I am going about 20 MPH which it is 30 so I am going 10 under. Me being a new driver to the snow and all, I am not to well educated on the whole driving thing. So there is two cars stopped at this stop sign. I am coming up behind them and I try to put on my breaks. Oh no! they decided they did not want to work and just locked up on me. I then begin to panic, i have never been in a accident that is my fault. I start to try and find a way to avoid hitting them because my car feels like it is just gaining speed instead of loosing any.. I wanted to just go into the other lane but a stupid car had turned into it and I did not want a head on collision. So I then realize my two options are to hit the car in front of me head on or go for the snow that has accumulated over time. So i go for the snow. I turn into it and hit it dead on and as I hit it the front end of my car stops but not my back. It catches the ice and slides right into the car in front of me.. Great huh?? i was so close to missing them. needless to say I was there four about a hour and half because we could not get a hold of Security forces and we had to pull my car out. The hubs was pissed at me by all means, and made me feel like an horrible driver. I then became pissed at him and it was just a bad time. So this brings me to this. My wonderful husband has now spent 1200 bucks on a beater truck. It is an 89 F150 four wheel drive and is in alright shape. An ex military guy is selling it to us. I just hate the fact that we are spending so much on shit something that will last like 2 years, when he knows I want an SUV.

my car : (

Enough on that, on to the next. Yesterday, was horrible. We had another small blizzard. The news said we got about 6 inches last night, but it snowed all day yesterday. literally. I was leaving work yesterday and I had to shovel my way out because that much snow had piled up around it. i go home from work and I could not even pull into the drive way. I started shoveling along with the hubs. Our neighbor who has been really sketchy since they moved in was out side shoveling his to. His daughter goes to my work and is in my homeroom so I see him everyday and he doesn't even say hey. Weird huh? But yesterday he decided to be nice and came over and started to help us shovel. I was so surprised. I then started casual conversation with him, and he asked if we drank wine. Um heck yeah I do. he said it was from Italy and had a sweet taste to it so I of course was not going to turn it down. So now he is on the top of my list as to who I like has neighbors. : )

And this brings me to today, Which was so bizarre. I get to work and there is so much snow. put not the snow we have been getting this snow was wet and thick and a pain in my ass! there was no way I was shoveling all that crap. So I bring out the snow blower. Which might I add is so big and prob weighs more than i do. I am pretty sure that it whooped my ass a couple of times. The first time I am blowing the snow, and the stupid blower gets stuck so i try to pull it backgrounds and as i do the damn handles come off!!!! I go flying backwards and pust my ass. I scream and then Tasha, a girl who works with me comes outside because she heard me. It was so funny but hurt like hell. the second time, is when i am almost done blowing and it runs out of stinken gas! I tried to just push it back but it was going no where. So i go get the gas can and start to put the gas in there, and as I do i burn the hell out of my hand. Luckily I had on my gloves so it did not do to much damage to my hand. But still it hurt like hell. So I am never using that darn thing unless It snows 12 inches. Okay maybe I will, but still I hate it!! To top it off as soon as i finish blowing we get a phone call telling us that schools are canceled for today so that means we have the kids all day.. what joy.. I will sum it up for you guys. lets just say it was a long day of whining, hitting, and pitching fits today. I am so glad to be home.

Also, I found out Monday that our picture that we took a week and a half ago are not going to be ready till Tuesday! I am sad that they are not done yet because my friends were done within a week. : ( But i understand that thanksgiving just came and I'm sure she had plans. I just need them to hurry so i can order our Christmas cards!!!

I will end this post in a good note though. Today is Game Day for my blue devils. They are playing number 6 Michigan St at Duke at 6:30. I am to excited!! GO DUKE

That is all I think I have to update you all on. I hope everyone had a great night.
