My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Another Friday

It's FRIDAY people!!! Don't we all just love the weekends? I know i do, but not this weekend. I have to go to work tomorrow afternoon for a bit. BLAH! But I do still get to sleep in a little so that is good. But as we all know every Friday is Milspouse day!! so here are mine : )

1. What do you see your life like in 10 years?
In ten years I would like to see us moved from here closer to the south. I would really like FL. Also I would like for us to already have kids and to be debt free. I know I ask a lot but it is all possible and I sure hope it happens. sooner the better. : )

2. What do you like most about your job?
The fact that I work with kids. They are just the cutest things ever, and they say the darnest things so they keep a smile on my face. : )

3. What are three things you do every day, no matter what day it is?
Clean, I feel like I am always cleaning no matter what day it is. Get on the computer, face book or blog! I am addicted. And play with my kitties. They are too cute not to play with.

4. What would you do with an extra five hours in the day today?
Cuddle with the hubs. I feel like we do not get enough time to do that anymore because we are both so busy.

5. What is your favorite Christmas (or whichever holiday  you celebrate) cookie recipe (please share!)?
I do not have one yet! But I am hoping I can find some good ones by reading everyone's post..

Also, do not forget to check out abbey's giveaway at trading diamonds for dog tags, it ends December 12th so do not miss the chance to win a 20 dollar gift card at chili's. Click here to view her blog.

Bromance

Alright i figured since it is Monday and nobody likes them, that I would share something to brighten up your day, make you giggle, and to put a smile on that face. I was not having a great morning at all. I did not want to wake up for work this morning and as I did I get out of bed and step in cat throw up!! To sum it up I was not heading into work in a great mood, that was until I checked my face book and discovered some pictures that I was tagged in by Kelsey. Not to long ago she cam down to visit her boyfriend, who is my husband's best friend and stationed here with us as well. Well we always joke about how there bromance is so strong and how they always hang out all the time. I guess you just have to know them to know how they really act together. But anyways Kelsey was visiting and she took pictures as the week went on. Well when she posted them on Face book this one picture made me literally laugh out loud. So I figured I would share it with you all, and if my husband knew I was doing this is would freak.

I know I know. It was all set up, but still it was so stinken funny. That is me in the background with the heart. HAH. I tried to make a heart while they were just sitting there, but I failed miserably because the noticed and looked at me like a was crazy, so then it led to the picture above.

This is the picture where I failed with the heart and they noticed. :) haha great memories.
I hope this brightened up your day.

Hello Jeep!

I blogged a couple of days ago about my wreck and how the hubs wanted to buy a beater truck for us to drive around in the snow, that would not get stuck and that would not matter if it got dinged up. Well my friends he finally found one he wanted. After a week of searching on craigs list he found a 88 Jeep Cherokee. I was not too excited about it at all, because I am not a fan of beat up looking trucks. Especially when I want to trade my car in for a Four runner one day. Guess it is going to be a while now. But I must say that this jeep is not to bad. It has no rust and is four wheel drive with low miles. It also has snow tires on it which is a major plus. I do not have any pictures to share at the moment but I will try to remember to take some later and post them. However I am not a big fan of the inside.. We are definitely going to buy some seat covers for this bad boy. But hey for 1000 bucks what can you expect? right?

Now, on to something I have been thinking about. I have no idea what I am going to get the hubs for Christmas. he is a spoiled man and has pretty much everything he needs. So any ideas ladies?? What are you all buying your man?

It's that time

That's right my fellow blogger readers. It is that time of the week again. Friday is here and it is yet again another MilSpouse fill in. I love this and enjoy reading everyone's answers. So I hope you enjoy mine too.

If you were given $1,000 right now, how would you spend it? Well what I want to spend it on and what I need to spend it on or two different things. I need to spend the whole 1,000 toward our car payment to hurry and get the hubs car paid off. ( which I can not wait) But I would want to go shopping. Buy things for the house, shoes and clothing.

If you had to choose a movie title (a real one that already exists) for your life story, what would it be? um, this is hard because I can not think of a movie that is anything like our life right now. But if I had to choose I would pick Sweet Home Alabama! It is my favorite movie and so cute.

If you were a teacher, what subject would you like to teach? This is easy, since I am going to school for it.. Science hands down. I want to teach anatomy one day.

Has being a MilSpouse changed how you view holidays or how your holidays are celebrated? If so, how? If not, what hasn't changed? Oh yes majorly. Especially this year. Usually we are with family spending the holidays with them but this year it will be just us two.

What is your favorite Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate) memory? Besides the first Christmas with the hubs, I would say that they best Christmas memory ever were the ones with my dad. He always spoiled me and tried his hardest to get what I wanted. I remember one year I pitched a fit about how I want this leopard chair and they could not find it any where. So my dad worked his magic and I was surprised to see it there Christmas morning. He ended up buying it of the floor already together and all. I miss him much.

HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL! i hope you guys have a great weekend, and for the ones with finals good luck to you, i will be doing what you are this weekend.. STUDYING.

Can we pause time?

It is that time. Study Study Study... I am trying to study for exams but my mind just wonders all over the place. The hubs is flying tonight and I have not seen him all day. I woke up and went to work, and come to find out that the 2 hours bus delay we thought we had turned into NO SCHOOL again! So I was there all day again. When I got off the hubs was already gone and doing pre flight. So as I sit here alone I can not help but to think about it. that is right the big D that all of us military spouse absolutely hate. Ours is right around the corner and coming o so fast. Because of OSPEC I am not sharing the date, but you guys will definitely know when it happens. I can not help to think about it especially tonight as I sit here alone. I have to admit I am so scared about it. I have seen multiple military spouses go through hard times while their significant other was deployed and they both ended in divorce. You guys may think I am some over whelming controlling freak when I say this, but hey this is my blog right? : ) But I just hate the fact that my husband is going to be in a country I will never know anything about, what it looks like, what kind of people are there, and what there is to do, ETC. I really really hate not knowing what the hubs is doing. It is not that I do not trust him, but we have gone through hard times before to make me want to know all this. I am not looking forward to not knowing if he is going to a bar, who he is hanging out with. I know sounds crazy but it just drives me crazy! I already know that there is a major time difference where he is going and when it is my bed time here he will be just waking up. So I might be pulling all nighters : )
Also another thing. With his job once his deployments start the never stop. hence he is gone for a shorter period of time, but when he comes home he is only here for that same amount of time and gone again. Also while he is home he could possibly be put on TDY!! So that means half of our marriage is going to be damn deployments. I wish there was a way around these stupid things.
My biggest fear, minus the whole divorce thing, is that we will get pregnant one day (which is not now) and that he will not be here for the birth. How horrible would that be?
Gees there are just so many problems with this whole situation. But on to a brighter note. today at work, the kids and I went outside to play in the snow. We made tons and tons of snowmen so I have some pics to share.

Oh and my blue devils won last night! I was so excited. GO DUKE!!
