My name Is Michel, I am a full time student majoring in education, a full time wife to my airman, and a full time mother to our two fur babies for now! I am a southern girl at heart and proud of it. I enjoy just about any outdoor activities, and love basketball. Coffee is definitely my weakness, especially here in the North West. I adore my husband and our family. We miss them much but enjoy our life in the Air Force.

My Airman, a lovable, caring, sweet, car loving, hardheaded man! : ) but he is my world. He is a boom operator in the Air Force and so far he loves his job. When he isn’t working he is probably working on his car, or on the internet finding things for his car. He is crazy, but you just can’t ask for a better husband.

Highschool sweathearts, that stuck together trough it all and ended up falling head over heels for each other. Married on November 23, 2009 and loving our wild and crazy life as two southerners living in the Northwest!

Thank goodness for wonderful friends

I do not think that I could not survive without my group of friends I have here. I have really gotten close to them and they have all been here for me since Joe has been gone. Some are going through deployment with me and some are about to in the next couple of weeks. Then there are the lucky ones who will probably never have to experience that nasty dirty word. But all in all they are amazing and I love them all. This weekend was pretty much occupied by them. Friday we went bowling here on base, which turned out to be awesome. It was only 7 bucks a person and you bowled all you wanted and got to do everything else there as well. We just bowled though.  Saturday I experienced my first ever Pure Romance party, and it was very interesting. Needless to say I LOVED it and all the ladies that were there. From the Games we played, our conversations, and the food it was just an amazing time. I also came out with a few goodies, but very sad to know that I can't use them since the hubs is gone. May could not come fast enough. Anyways lets not get into that topic on here. :) Also this weekend I went to another tanning party, but did not tan. As you remember reading a couple post back my last spray tanned did not settle well on me, so the lady felt really bad and wanted to try something different to see if it worked. So I let her spray just my legs. HA. It looks okay right now but barley made any difference from my original color. But like I said I didn't go for the tanning just went for the good time. We ended up playing some kinnect and dancing our behinds off while stuffing our faces with food.

As you see my lovely friends here keep me busy and occupy my mind great. They are always here for me. But since I was such a procrastinator this weekend, i really need to go and do some school now. I have so many papers due this week that I need to finish. Oh how I wish school was a breeze and did not last so long.Oh and here are some pictures that were taken this weekend.

holy mother blizzard!

Well the title pretty much sums up what i am about to say! I have no idea what or who pissed of mother nature here in Washington, but she sure was pissed last night and today! I woke up this morning to a foot of snow. no lie. It was crazy! It literally took me a hour and half to shovel out my driveway. What really made me mad was the fact that the snow plowers had plowed all the snow on the road into my driveway, so the snow at the end of my driveway went up to my waist!! So little bitty ole me had to get out in the middle of that and shovel it all alone because of course the husband would be deployed when I need him. But I did make it out of the drive way and I was late to work by 15 min. Which was stressful because I am the opener and I have the keys to the building so no one can get in unless I am there. Thankfully the next person to show was running late to. : ) BUT did I mention that at work there was more snow for me to shovel? thats right MORE. -Funny story though, me and Kendra, A girl I work with, were going out to shovel the snow around the emergency exits. As we were walking out the door we were talking and didn't even think to unlock the door before heading out and of course it shuts before I realize what was going on. I know great huh. We are locked out back and the only door that is unlocked is the front, which means we have to walk all the way around the building in snow up to our thighs. Needless to say I wish we had a video camera out there because we probably looked like two idiots running around.- Anyways I ended up working all day because schools were closed due to mother natures wonderful blizzard. However, once I did get off I come home to a driveway that needs to be shoveled for me to even pull my car into it because once again they plowed it right into my driveway! didn't take to long but it still made me angry. Auzza on the other hand loves the snow. She had a blast playing in it, even thought it was over her head.
She likes to stick her head in the snow HA
This was the start of the snow
She was stuck
While making her little snow runs she would get stuck in a really deep spot and just start hoping like a bunny through it all. I wish I would have gotten it on video it was to cute.

One good thing about snow days is that I do get of earlier than normal, which is pretty nice. I got to come home and clean the house up some, talk to the hubby, and play with the pup. Now that I have finished this i am about to crawl into my pj's and cuddle on the couch with the babies and watch Weeds. I am addicted to this show. Joe and I started to watch it on netflix before he left and they had the first 5 season on there. So i just finished up season 5 and found out the 6th one came out on the 22nd, but it has to come in the mail. Oh you bet I ordered it and it came in yesterday! I cant wait to watch it. If you have not seen it, I suggest you watch it. It is about a wife that has no job who's husband dies of a heart attack and she is stuck paying the bills of their huge house and raising two kids. So she slowly starts dealing drugs to make money to survive. As the episodes start piling on she gets pretty far up into the dealing business along with her kids and even dating a DEA officer. I know it sounds horrible, but I promise it is a good show.

check out the new episodes on Mondays on Showtime.

Life throws you the unexpected.

I never in my life EVER thought the day would come that I would have to clean a 9 year old kids poop off the floor of my classroom at work. Well my lovely readers it happened to day! I was minding my own business playing with play dough with some kids, and all of a sudden I hear Mrs. Michel there is poop on the ground!! Sure enough I look over and there was poop smeared into the floor!! I almost freaked out. And of course all the kids start to scream and begin to go crazy. So I had to clean it up myself because the janitor was not there yet. So disgusting, but I guess that is what I get for working with kids. I don't know about you, but changing a diaper and cleaning poop off the floor is two different things. I can handle the diaper. You would also think that a 9 year old would go use the bathroom on his own.

Anyways, while I was on my lunch break I realized that I had a paper that was due today! I knew nothing about this paper and to tell you the truth I have never even glanced at it this semester. So I have been working on it since I have been off work and finally just finished. It is a good thing that I have written a similar paper my freshman year in college, because without that i would for sure still be typing away.

Also, today was not such a good day while talking to Joe. We both said a few mean things to each other, and now I am sure we regret them. I know I do. So I have spent the whole day down, because I didn't get to say sorry and wont get to till he calls me next.

Something good that happened today, I found out that my sister leaves June 5 for basic training!! I am so proud of her.

Something I wish I would have done different:
watch the kids better at work so I would not have to clean up poop.

At least Tuesday is now gone.

Sit, Stay, Lay down!

Today has been a total lazy day for me. Joe called me this morning, finally at 6AM and woke me up. I gladly woke up to talk to him. We talked for about and hour and after that I went back to sleep and did not wake up till 11 because my friend text me to go to the gym. so beside going to the gym for two hours i have literally been sitting at home in my PJ's watching tv and playing with Auzza. My love for her just keeps growing. She is so steakin cute and learning so fast. I sat with her for forever today teaching here tricks. She knows how to sit, and lay down very well. She is slowly learning what stay means but once i begin to walk away farther she looses it. Also, when trying to teach roll over she just makes it on her side and sits there. HA it is funny, but she will make it eventually. For only being 4 months I think she is learning well. She has been very good about not using the bathroom in our house, but when visiting her friends she looses it and acts like she hasn't even been potty trained. It is kinda embarrassing. I have been a google queen at how to train your dog lately because I wont her to be obedient when Joe gets home and trained well.  The picture above was taken after we played fetch outside, she came in and brought all her toys on the couch and passed out. It was so cute. The only thing that is really annoying is that she eats the cats poop!! it is so gross. So I am constantly cleaning the liter box. Fluffy and Sparta have adjusted well and fast to her. It is surprising. Fluffy tries to play with Auzza, but Auzza plays to rough so fluff leaves her alone. It is funny. Sparta on the other hand just observes.

I did however make it out tonight. Some friend wanted to go to apple-bees so I tagged alone. I really wanted to get an dessert and it was so yummy. Also it was good to get out of the house I have been stuck in all day. Tomorrow I am heading to another boomer wife's house to play some kinnect and eat pizza so I am looking forward to that.

I also think that I am going to start adding to each of my post one thing that I wish I would have done differently today. So therefore, today I wish I would not have slept in so late.
even though sleeping is good for you, I feel like I did nothing all day. Which I did, so I wish I would have gotten out more on this beautiful day here is Washington.

If anyone has any good suggestions on training dogs I am free to read your ideas. until later this is all the rambling I have for you guys today.

Yay for Fridays!

For some reason I am not that excited for this weekend. Maybe because it is the first weekend with the hubby home and the fact that it is a three day weekend for me. I hate not having anything to do, but I am sure my friends will keep me busy as much as possible. Tonight I am hosting my first Scensty party here! I am super excited about it, and I hope that I have a good turn out. I have been cleaning this house for two days now!! It was a mess... Last week from Thursday till Tuesday all Joe and I did was literally be lazy all day! We watched the show Weeds, which is amazing, and hate junk food all day! We did leave the house of course to go skiing, but other than that we did nothing. No cleaning, dishes, laundry or anything. So therefore, now that he is gone I have been going crazy! I hate having a dirty house and I can not believe it too me that long to clean it. Oh well.. It was worth the mess to spend the last couple of days with him. : ) Update on him as we are talking about it: He made it to his destination, but I have yet to hear from him since he has been there. :( disappointing because he promised to be very good about talking to me while he was gone. In the past he was horrible, so I am hoping to hear from him this weekend. I know he is fine because his friend Caleb is there and he just saw him so that is good to know, but that jerk better call. : ) ha. Other than that my Friday has been good! I am glad I get to sleep in tomorrow morning and spend time with my puppy. I really need to go get ready for this party..

Have a great Weekend. : )

Day One

Today is day one of this horrible deployment and it has just been a long day that seems like it will never end. I did blog about some of it on the other blog Deployment Diaries . but there is a little bit more I want to say that has been really bugging me and if it offends you then so be it because i am tired of hearing people say this. I know that my husband is Aircrew and I know that he has, should I not say easier, but one of the better jobs in the air force. But when people have the nerve to tell me that my husband is NOT deploying because he is only gone for 77 days at a time and does not go to Iraq, yes I am going to be a brutal bitch to you and tell you off. The nerve some people have. Yes your husband may be gone for 6 months or more, but I guarantee you that your husband would not come back if it wasn't for mine. Yes my husband does not go to Iraq, because if he did ALL of our planes would be shot down and the whole place would blow up from all the fuel so therefore your husband would not come back. Yes my husband gets a room to his self and does not have to stay in a tent, but this is also because my husband needs the rest to fly the next day and to make sure everything goes smoothly in the air. I completely understand that your husband is more at a risk of being shot at, but that does not give you the damn right to say that my husband job is not important and that this is not considered a deployment. Yes, he is only gone for 77 days, but as soon as he comes home after 77 days home full of TDY's, he turns right back around to deploy again. So do not tell me that your husband is gone more than mine. Come visit me after 20 yrs of this and then we can compare! Ugh people make me so dang angry, and this is literally how one of my conversations went with a person I never want to speak with again. She has lost all respect from me. So please do not comment on any of my post saying anything related to this because I am on fire.

Oh and aside from all this bad news I come with more. Our jeep broke down Saturday so it is not drivable. We got it towed to a auto shop and they told us we needed a new transmission. GREAT!!! so we ended up selling it for 500 bucks and lost 700 throughout it all. BLAH. At least he was home for that craziness.

Weekend Wrap up!

This weekend has been all hubby time!! We have been on a rampage of spending all the time together as possible and just enjoying the freedom we have, not worrying about money and all. So basically just having a good time. Friday we had a night out with just us two. Drank a little and came home to play Xbox and the wii. I even played COD.. HA The Saturday I got a spray tan with some of my lovely gym friends. I have had one before and I liked it alot, but this one is really dark and it has not faded any yet. So I am still super dark. The hubs told me he didn't want me to get another one because he doesn't like the way they look. So I will more than likely  not be getting another anytime soon. Oh well. As I was getting a tan, him and his friend decided to go night skiing for a couple hours, so they headed to the mountain, but never made it because our jeep broke down! WONDERFUL right?? UGH. So now I have no vehicle that will handle the snow if it decides to go crazy while Joe is gone. Which i hope it wont. But to make up for a bad Saturday, Sunday we all went skiing and Had a blast. I tried Snowboarding first and I SUCKED BALLS. Never again will I do that. I think I broke my tailbone. So then I switched to skis and did pretty well. Made it down from the top of the mountain without breaking anything. My friends husband did tackle me though. haha. it was pretty funny.

It was a blast, even though we got our butts kicked. : ) Hope everyone had a good Valentines Day. I am off to spend time with the hubs. : )

A little bit of everything!

Meet Auzza
Lets see. It has been like a week and half since I have posted on my blog, and I have to admit I am having withdrawals from reading all my favorite blogs. I feel like I have missed so much, so I will be catching up soon for sure. However, there as been so much going on since the husband has gotten home. To sum it all up we have just been enjoying our time together.
Sleeping during the superbowl
I have recently started the Tour D' France at the gym. For the ones that do not know what this is it is like a 16 week process and you are spinning the whole time. Last week was our first week of it and we had to get a total of 119 miles in 5 days. Each week the resistance goes up along with the miles. Needless to say it is going to be near impossible by week 16. : )    I do enjoy it though, and the girls are wonderful that attend it as well. It has really been draining me out because I have been pulling two a days.
We also filed our taxes and I am very happy with the outcome. If it wasn't for my husband I would owe money though because I claimed 1 instead of 0. oops. But it is fixed now so next year we should get more back. I can't wait to get it all in. We already received state, but waiting on federal.  Oh how I love tax returns.
After her first bath
This past weekend was filled with tons of joy. Ranging from a coming home party for a friend, the Superbowl, and a dog! Thats right guys I said it, A Dog! We went out on a limb and now we have a precious new baby girl. She is so adorable. At first we wanted a Husky, but I knew that they were a big handful and I did not want to have her all alone while the hubs is deployed, so we were on the internet and came across a Australian Sheppard! She is very cute, and smart! She had surprised me of how smart she actually is. She already fetches and she is only 3 months. : )Australian Sheppard's are called Aussie's so we decided to name her Auzza!

She like to cuddle with teddy

I instantly felt the love for her and I am so excited to have a dog again. She gets along with our cats very well, but our cats are slowly adjusting to her. : ) She is of course not potty trained yet, She was an outside dog at the other place. We are working on training her, but want her to get adjusted to the house and us before we get to strict on her.

I hope everyone has been having a February so far. It is going by so fast and it just started. Man where does the time go.
